Prof.(Dr.) Arijit Maity holds a Ph.D. in Financial Management from the University of Calcutta, India along with an MBA and M.Tech. He also holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Visveswariah Technological University.

His research specialty focuses around the areas of Behavioural Finance. He has over a decade of experience within the industry at Ramco Cement Ltd., Lafarge India Ltd, Aditya Birla Group, ICICI Bank. Dr. Maity is a well published academic with both national and international journal articles.
